Brecon Jazz Club are back for November offering an amazing opportunity to hear one of the world's best guitarists during a European tour, here joined by a jazz musician widely known to audiences in Wales. Expect top class sounds from this very special duo will feature classic 'American Songbook' numbers with John's unique arrangements and own compositions.
John Stowell - international artist and guitar 'clinician' at Berklee College and many US Universities. Influences are from pianists and horn players in jazz, with recording/performance credits incl. Milt Jackson, Lionel Hampton, Art Farmer, Conte Condoli, Herb Ellis, Mundell Lowe, Billy Hart,Tom Harrrell, Don Thompson, Dave Liebman, and many more. John continues to tour, record & teach internationally and is a columnist for "Downbeat" magzine, "Guitar Player", "Canadian Musician", "Soundcheck" (Germany), and "Guitar Club" (Italy).
