Brecon Frazz Parade presents Gaudy Orde

  • The Muse, Old Museum Glamorgan Street Brecon, Wales, LD3 7DW United Kingdom (map)

If you've not come across Jeff Japers and his band Gaudy Orde you've been missing out! comedy, music, genius!

Festival favourites Gaudy Orde reside in South Wales and play original toe-tapping quirky music that is fun and flippant.   If you're looking for a genre, then you might try 'skiffle' or 'vaudeville', although neither of those trousers are a perfect fit. However you decide to describe Gaudy Orde, one thing is certain, they are a thoroughly entertaining live act. The band is made up of Jeff Japers on ukulele, keyboard and main vocals, Huw Chidgy on bouzouki , Romany Bob on washboard and clarinet, Helen Spoons on spoons and djembe drum, Tall Joy on bass and James Parr on charango, pan pipes and keyboard. Other instruments and props that feature in the show include a vibraslap, a drumming bunny and a Charles and Diana tea tray.
